How to Find BOMBANANA! Teammates (LFG Guide)

Every BOMBANANA! match needs exactly three players, and there are no AI teammates. If you’re one or two short, here’s where to look, starting with the fastest.

Inside the game

Matchmaking: added in patch v1.0.2 (September 10, 2026) so solo players can find and join other players.
Server browser / global lobby browser: browse public lobbies and join players from anywhere, without adding them as Steam friends first.
Room code: if you already know someone, the host shares the lobby code and you join with it. Streaming? v1.0.2 added a button to hide the code.

Official communities outside the game

Where	What it’s good for
Official Discord (“BOMBANANA OFFICIAL”, about 60,000 members)	The biggest place to find a trio and arrange a session. The invite opens the English chat channel
Steam LFG forum	The game’s own Looking for Group board on Steam. Good for posting a time and a language
r/bombananagame	The subreddit the developer links in every announcement. Players post looking-for-group threads there too

Playing in another language

BOMBANANA! itself is translated into 15 languages, but we haven’t found an official community channel for each language. Until there is one, this works:

Put your language in the title of your post, for example [PT-BR] LFG tonight, have mic or [DE] Suche 2 Mitspieler. Players on the Steam LFG forum and the subreddit already mention their language in posts.
In the official Discord, check the channel list after joining. The invite lands in an English chat channel; we couldn’t confirm which other language channels exist without joining.
Say which role you can play. The Mute Monkey doesn’t need a microphone (developer FAQ), so “no mic, I’ll play Mute” is a useful thing to write.

The tags are a common convention, not an official system.

Before you team up across platforms

Windows and Mac players are all on Steam, so they can play together.
PS5 demo, Xbox, mobile: crossplay with Steam hasn’t been announced. If someone you met online is on another platform, check our crossplay page before you plan a session.
